The Formula Renault Northern European Cup will once again be streamed live through YouTube and on social media in 2018, with the series gearing up for its season opener on the streets of Pau on 11-13 May.
Fans can enjoy live race coverage at each of the championships six events, with double headers on world-famous circuits such as the Hungaroring, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Hockenheimring, Nurburgring and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps to follow an action-packed opening event in Pau.
Three of those events will also share grids with the Formula Renault Eurocup, the next step on Renault Sport Racing’s junior single seater ladder, further raising the profile of the series and providing a platform for the next generation of motorsport stars to impress.
The two races in the south of France get underway at 17:55 and 17:00 on the Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Jurgen Evers, Series Manager said, “We’re very pleased to be able to confirm that the championship will benefit once again in 2018 from live, free-to-view streaming through our online platforms.
“The double header at Pau is set to open the new season in style, and it’s getting difficult to predict a winner. We believe the decision is a positive one for maintaining and expanding our fan base, and gives our teams and drivers a fantastic platform on which to enhance their careers.”
