Experienced single-seater racing team Anders Motorsport have signalled their intention to contest the 2018 Formula Renault Northern European Cup (NEC), citing it as a “wonderful” platform for aspiring professional drivers.
The championship – commonly regarded as an important stepping stone on the path for future professionals – has hosted distinguished talents in the past such as Valtteri Bottas, Carlos Sainz, Daniil Kvyat and Robin Frijns who became GT Sprint champion last weekend.
Anders Motorsport – supported a technical infrastructure by capable of assisting drivers from making the transition to international racing– have a seat available for the last NEC round at Hockenheim and the full 2018 season.
They also believe the car – powered by a 2.0 litre Renault engine with a chassis manufactured by Tatuus – has a strong technical background that aids driver setup and prepares drivers for the next stage in their careers.
